My first actual person-type-thing realism picture. I'm VERY pleased with the outcome of many hours of hard work, but the hair bothers me a little... and Gaara's proportions are still anime-like. Also, he looks like a girl. ToT Oh well, bash me for ruining Gaara, I'm sad about it, so you should too XDD.
I was inspired to draw this picture by a bunch of Gazette pictures (Aoi, mainly, cause lots of his pictues have this expression in them XDDDD), and the tutourials made by Mree (that's how I got the eye XD THANKS MREE). I really wanted to draw the kanji over his eye, but it looked queer when I tried, so I decided to do the other half of his face XDD' Because like, this is my first human realism... and it was hard enough as is with the red hair. All the people in my family think Gaara's a girl though T___________T Oh well, he's still beautiful. Entire picture done freehand with a tablet in Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0. Enjoy! EDIT: Daaamn, looking back, this... sucks. ToT IT REALLY SUCKS! I NEED TO SCAN MY NEW BEAUTIES! |

Honestly, I wasn't even sure how I should make the black around the eye at the beginning. You're right about that black-eye thing, and I should remember that for my future Gaara fanarts. And also, the nose fails. XDD Completely. Faaaaily noseyness. *blargh*
